In this example you own a property at the end of thirty years worth $235,656. I know that you can’t retire on this amount, but imagine if you bought 5 houses this year? How about 10? What if you bought 10 houses per year for the next 15 years? Can you imagine the amount of wealth you'd have? Let’s look at it further. If you purchased 5 houses this year, then according to the above example, you’d be worth $1,178,280. If you owned 10 houses this year, then according to the above example, you’d be worth $2,356,560. Now, that would be a nice goal. Buy 10 houses this year and be worth over $2 million in 30 years. That’s a nice little jump on the retirement savings.
